Knitting pattern – Etelä-Konnevesi wool sweater

"In Etelä-Konnevesi (Southern Konnevesi) National Park, the rock paintings of Toussunlinna date back thousands of years. To me, they appeared as dancing figures with flowing hair. On northern part of Konnevesi, an ancient bronze artifact had been found on Noitanen Island. I encountered both of these symbols on the same hiking trip, so I knitted them into the Etelä-Konnevesi sweater."

Riina Meriläinen visited all the 41 national parks in Finland and, inspired by their magnificent nature, has designed a unique knitting pattern for each park. Now you have the opportunity to knit the Etelä-Konnevesi Toussunlinna sweater following Riina's pattern.
