"Sometimes help is needed to ensure that the landscape of a national park remains a traditional one. Sheep do this valuable work in the Bothnian Bay (Perämeri). Of course, sheep herders are needed to tend to the sheep. In this knit, there is a large flock of sheep, and undyed wool from Finnish sheep has been used to create them. The base color of the knit is straw yellow, to distinguish the shepherd from the sheep."
Riina Meriläinen visited all the 41 national parks in Finland and, inspired by their magnificent nature, has designed a unique knitting pattern for each park. Now you have the opportunity to knit the Perämeri Lammaspaimen (shepherd) sweater following Riina's pattern.
The pattern includes sizes XS–XXL
