Knitting pattern – Isojärvi wool sweater

"At first glance, a beaver’s constructions look like piles of branches, but their impact on the environment is significant. In Isojärvi, the water level had risen so much that hikers had to repeatedly search for new paths if they wanted to keep their socks dry. We didn’t spot the beaver itself, nor does it appear in this sweater. Instead, the beaver's lodge in the knit represents the tangled lines of the branch piles and a hint of the beaver’s tail contours."

Riina Meriläinen visited all the 41 national parks in Finland and, inspired by their magnificent nature, has designed a unique knitting pattern for each park. Now you have the opportunity to knit the Isojärvi Majavanpesä sweater following Riina's pattern.
