"There are 41 national parks in Finland. For me, Lemmenjoki National Park was the last one I visited, which makes it feel especially meaningful. The patterns in the knitwear are inspired by, among other things, a gold digger’s shovel, a gold panning sluice, and the midnight sun. Some of the designs are knitted with gold thread — after all, there are still gold nuggets waiting to be found in Lemmenjoki."
Riina Meriläinen visited all the 41 national parks in Finland and, inspired by their magnificent nature, has designed a unique knitting pattern for each park. Now you have the opportunity to knit the Lemmenjoki Kullankaivaja (gold miner) sweater following Riina's pattern.
The pattern includes sizes S–5XL
Available only in Finnish.
You can download the pattern after payment.
